KangLe Elementary School | 康樂國小

One of the Top Ten featured Elementary school in Taiwan, this small school of 115 students live along one of the most pristine shore in Taiwan. Located in KangLe village, HsinChen town, Hualian County, the school has successfully integrated the local and regional specialties with the school’s academic program and its campus (90632 ft²), transforming it from a mundane school to a fun, creative environment. To give the kids a more direct access about design and creative thinking, small projects were carried out with design – build process, using materials that is available at hand, under the guidance of Yu-Chia Shih and staffs from the school, the construction begun with a direction, and the process shaped the result.

Here are four small projects presented by Yu-Chia Shih and KangLe Elementary school.
